JOB REQUIREMENTS: Drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). May be required to unload truck. Requires commercial drivers\' license. What We Haul We are 100% dry van, hauling general freight such as building materials, machined metal parts, windows, Wis-Pak (Pepsi products), Kubota (tractor parts) and hazmat farm use chemicals, among other freight. We are 80% customer direct dedicated freight. Where We Run All lower 48. Our frequent lanes are: -WI to FL -WI to TX -WI to CA -WI to NY -WI to KS -WI to NE Compensation: West, Southwest & Southeast: \$0.54 per mile with an additional \$0.03 premium per mile. East: \$0.62 per mile with an additional \$0.08 premium per mile. Hazmat loads are an additional \$0.10 per mile. Drops pay anywhere from \$20-\$50 depending on the load. Benefits: Eligible 1st of the month after 30 days of employment, we offer: -Health insurance -Dental insurance -Short-term disability (voluntary) -Employer sponsored long-term disability -Employer sponsored life insurance policy Retirement offerings: -401k with a 3% employer match -Employee Stock Ownership Program Qualifications and Education Requirements: -Possession of a valid class A Commercial Driver\'s License -Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations. -Ability to do the following: repeatedly lifts 50 lbs. safely reach, bend, climb, crawl, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as needed, and work outdoors in inclement weather as needed -Comfortable sitting for up to 11 hours a day -Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
