Outreach Educator Jobs

The Vermont Historical Society seeks a full-time Outreach Educator based in Barre. The Outreach Educator provides curriculum and content support to Vermont educators and students. They are responsible for developing, promulgating, and evaluating VHS resources for the K-12 audience. They also co-coordinate the Vermont History Day statewide competition and provide educational outreach services to schools, libraries, and others. Degree and/or advanced training in education with a focus on history, material culture, and/or museums with at least 5 years of work experience. Knowledge of Vermont history, the Vermont educational system, and/or classroom experience preferred. Starting salary range of $49,000-54,000 with generous benefits package.
