The OSP Design Engineer will work closely with the Project Manager to design telecommunications projects. Position will entail determining ideal locations for new underground conduit/fiber facilities and equipment; field verifying potential routes to ensue constructability viability; site walks as required; understanding permitting requirements and familiarity with permitting procedures; with a strong adherence to deadlines.

Position Requirements:

·3+ years of experience in designing fiber optic, coaxial, or telephone outside plant engineering.
·Experience in telecommunications or related field.
·Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS Pro, Excel and Word.
·Knowledge of telecommunications construction techniques.
·Knowledge of pole attachment and make ready experience (O-Calc Software).
·Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
·Ability to work on a fast-paced project-based environment while meeting deadlines.
·Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
