Order Puller Line Lead

The 2nd Shift Line leader is responsible for pulling orders, assisting in the set-up and preparation of orders, and coordinating the work flow between all areas of GSP. The Fulfillment Line Leader will be responsible for the work load of approximately 20 employees and will coordinate hours required to meet work load, ensuring all employees are scanning in and out POP Director and alert all disciplinary actions to Management for further evaluation and/or disciplinary action if required. The leader may be assigned projects to lead team members for special project goals. The leader takes responsibility for any order shipped by their team of pullers Responsibilities: Coordinating flow of work from other departments to Fulfillment and throughout entire department Stages pull lines for the next day's task assignments Ensures daily priorities are met Communicates with AM's on any issues pertaining to their individual clients Pre-pulls items to expedite the next day pull lines Assigns tasks as necessary to ensure an efficient pull and pack Ensures deadlines are met for shipping and analyzes packaging procedures for quality as well as cost Assures the efficient operation of the production/pulling process and insure that the quality of the product being shipped is up to standard Fill in on pull lines as necessary Knows the pull and the product Maintains accurate reports of tasks/pulls assigned Aides in work flow and in prep Ensures all team members are filling out time cards properly Trains employees on POP Director on proper use and scanning Skills: Leadership abilities Detail oriented Ability to lift minimum 30 lbs Safety conscious Ability to understand, communicate and follow instructions with minimal supervision Minimum Position Requirements: One year experience as a puller Knowledgeable in all procedures and standards set by department and company Ability to speak, read and understand English Job Posted by ApplicantPro
