Summary/Objective:


Perform all duties related to Order Entry by ensuring all daily order entry goals are met and making sure internal email turn-times regarding responses are ever increasing. Must maintain standards of excellent customer service, recognizing quality of work and responses from the team are a reflection of a value add for Lippert Components as a brand. Must understand the dynamics of working among various special channels including, but not limited to, OEM, Marine and Specialty Markets. Must be detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Remove barriers for teammates and customers
  • Ability to learn general knowledge of the product line and is familiar with promotions and pricing schedules.
  • Successful team members should be driven to meet or exceed goals
  • Enters customer orders placed same day if received before 2:00 pm.
  • Take care of customers, understand their expectations and meet or exceed them
  • Create a culture of quality
  • Monitoring customer orders sent electronically on a daily basis with minimal errors - includes checking inventory levels, verifying/updating customer information, monitoring the internal process of all account orders.
  • Database maintenance – ensure data is current and accurate in all systems or software that is used
  • Demonstrated ability to give extraordinary customer service.
  • Revisions must be reacted to quickly and completed within 2 hours of receiving them.
  • Performs all other responsibilities as may be assigned by management.

Working Conditions:


  • Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.
  • May sit for several hours at a time.
  • Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
  • Primarily working indoors, office environment.


Qualifications:


  • High school degree or GED
  • RV experience or prior data entry or customer service preferred

  • Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must demonstrate professional maturity
  • Possess follow-up and follow through skills – must be tenacious and persistent
  • Successful candidates will be organized, possess great follow-up skills, and high personal accountability.

Supervisory Responsibility:


This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.


Physical Demands:


While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires sitting, data entry, and a telephone headset. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:


This is a full-time hourly position and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.


Travel:


Travel would be minimal and would be primarily local during the business day.


Preferred Education and Experience:


  • Manufacturing/industry experience.
