We have a state-of-the-art dental practice at Fort Meade as part of Army and Air Force Exchange Services specifically servicing Military Families and Military Veterans. Our practice has a family feel and we focus on building relationships with our patients. Making sure to provide each of our patients with the best quality care.


To do well in this role, you should be a hard worker, detailed-focused, and a team player! Oral Surgeon responsibilities include but are not limited to


  • Professional verbal & communication skills.
  • Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Great patient care and relationship building skills.
  • Wisdom teeth and general extractions.
  • Implants.
  • Able to organize work-flow, prioritize tasks, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Other advanced procedures.


Clinical Hours of Operation


Monday through Friday 730 a.m. – 530 p.m.


Saturday 730 a.m. - 230 p.m.


  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Leads with a positive attitude, calm approach, fairness, and consistency
  • Doctorate of Oral Surgery from an accredited US program
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Real ID prior to starting
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Active and Unrestricted State Dental License
  • Excellent proficiency and knowledge of requisite procedural skills
  • Great interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Execute company standards, processes, and procedures to ensure quality of service and a consistent patient experience.
  • Build strong relationships with patients to create connections and influence patient retention.
  • Practice and follow infection control and OSHA regulations.
  • Follow all rules and regulations set by the state, federal and governmental entities
  • Educate patients on the importance of maintaining proper oral health and outlining goals for both medical and dental health considerations.
  • Utilize best practices, evidenced based dentistry and ADA standards of care in guiding your clinical practice.
  • Strive to balance the achievement of operational targets while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
  • Provide dental treatments to patients, including routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, and veneers.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and be well versed in all phases of general dentistry with emphasis on oral surgery, restorative, and palliative care.


Clinical Hours of Operation


Monday through Friday 730 a.m. – 530 p.m.


Saturday 730 a.m. - 230 p.m.


  • CPR Certification
  • Excellent proficiency and knowledge of requisite procedural skills
  • Active State Dental License - with no restrictions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • DMD or DDS from an accredited US program
  • Evaluate and treat patients with the highest quality of care
  • Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, organized
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
  • Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as with MS Office products required


Salary Range $150,000 - $240,000+


SIGN-ON & Retention Bonus Up to $30,000
