Summary
We are looking for a proficient Oracle APEX Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle Application Express (APEX) and a proven track record in developing and deploying high-quality applications. This role will involve working closely with our development team to design, build, and implement innovative solutions for our business requirements.
Position Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document application requirements.
  • Test applications to ensure functionality, performance, reliability, and security.
  • Keep abreast with new Oracle APEX features and upcoming versions.
  • Design and optimize database schema, tables, procedures, and permissions.
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs/issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement high-quality applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX).
  • Ensure all applications are built to an appropriate level of quality for the stage (alpha/beta/production).
  • Maintain data integrity and security in applications.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, PL/SQL.
  • Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Knowledge of RESTful Web Services and Oracle Integrated Cloud Service is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience as an Oracle APEX Developer, 5-8 years.
  • Able to work in a team environment as well as independently.

  • Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.
Physical Demands
  • Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)
  • Ability to work in an office environment (Constant)
The salary range for this role is:
$132,000 - $198,000
AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
