Optometric Technician (1 Day Monthly)

The MedServ Group provides high quality care to residents in healthcare settings such as nursing home/rehab facilities. We are currently searching for a talented Optometric Technician to join our team! You'll use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality optometry care to our patients under the supervision of an Optometrist. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering quality patient care to the elderly with their safety, comfort, and dignity always in mind.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assist with all clinical/ administrative documentation as needed
• Assist optometrist working in nursing homes and long term care facilities.
• Work with facility representative(s) to address any optometry-related issues as needed
• Promote eye health by counseling and educating patients

Optometric Technician Qualifications:

• A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities
• Candidates must be punctual, organized and computer literate
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
• Previous optometric technician/office or CNA experience preferred

• Weekend availability
• Day shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
