Operator (Day Shift) Jobs

Steri-Tek helps to improve and save lives by sterilizing medical devices, pharmaceuticals and tissue products with electron beam radiation. Our customers range from large medical device companies that send us truckloads of products down to the smallest start-ups that use us to sterilize new products that will eventually save and/or improve lives. Steri-Tek is dedicated to providing a high-quality sterilization service and superior customer service to the industries that it serves.
The Operator will be processing customer product including loading and unloading the conveyor, setting up the job in PTMS, reading dosimeters, and verifying fellow operators are following all procedures.
Requirements
The Operator will:

• Complete, assist other employees and departments as needed.
• Complete and ensure proper execution of appropriate Steri-Tek Standard Operating Procedures.
• Complete continuing education requirements described in your annual review.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

OPERATE LINEAR ACCELERATOR
Perform start-up of the linear accelerator(s) each day and prepare them for the processing of customer product.

• Load product boxes per the appropriate specification onto totes on the conveyor system and unload product boxes upon completion.
• Prepare all aspects of the linear accelerator system to process customer products to the required sterility assurance level.

SPECTROPHOTOMETER USE
Use a spectrophotometer on a regular basis. Calibrate and maintain calibration records.

• Correctly read dosimeters using the spectrophotometer.
• Calibrate spectrophotometer on a periodic basis.

PREPARE PROCESS REPORTS AND RELATED JOB RECORDS
Complete all required reports and documentation accurately and completely.

• Complete all required information in the Job Record.
• Identify, segregate and notify manager of any Product or Process Non-Conformance.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English language (written and verbal)
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
