As an analytics professional, you’re excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by a data set, and you’re fascinated by the possibilities presented by IoT, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. If you care about leading a mission forward as much as advancing the field of data science, this is the opportunity for you. Your deep understanding of operations research, modeling and simulation, and analytics and consulting expertise, coupled with an original approach to your work, will guide clients and stakeholders as they make sense of their data and encourage actionable results. We’re looking for someone like you to lead complex data exploration and analytics projects through your experience with utilizing programming technologies, including SQL, R, or Python for data analysis, as well as building simulation models for the Intelligence Community (IC).

As an advanced data scientist and researcher, you’ll introduce innovative modeling methodologies to make a real-world impact on projecting the utilization of a critical IC network. We’ll keep you sharp and moving forward in your career, with access to online courses and cutting-edge tools and technologies, as well as opportunities to publish or present at conferences. Whether you’re running simulation models to project future network loads or parsing through large network traffic datasets, you’ll lead a team that serves critical missions from end to end.

Nice If You Have:

  • Ability to work in Windows and Linux OS environments
  • Knowledge of network modeling tools, including Riverbed products, such as NetPlanner and NetIM
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or Data Science
  • Experience in creating models and engineering solutions using networking or telecommunications technologies and systems
  • Experience with leading multi-disciplinary teams

Clearance:
