About The Role

We are looking for an Operations Manager, Special Projects to join us on our journey to facilitate a digital revolution in the B2B supply chain. The Operations Manager, Special Projects will work with our operations and engineering teams to foster customer relationships through feature development, customer-vendor onboardings, account management and customer retention, process improvement and other special projects within the Operations department. This position will also work directly with the assigned representatives and respective regional managers to assist with company growth. You will also be responsible for overseeing and improving the overall carrier experience as it relates to working directly with the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Liaise between customer users and product team to for new feature evaluation
  • Develop strategy and tactics to achieve long-term and near-term strategic objectives
  • Leading from the front when necessary and doing whatever it takes to ensure operational success
  • Maintains relationships with customer stakeholders, including buyers, influencers, users, and their vendors
  • Support operational goals of CFO/COO
  • Build and lead a team that focuses on operational excellence, customer service and maintaining a win or die mentality
  • Hire, develop, and manage performance and development of colleagues
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned
  • Establish KPIs to measure performance of various segments and derive actionable insights
Requirements
  • Understanding of service-focused operations teams that support a group of customers whose operations are 24/7/365
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally across customers’ operations, IT, supply chain, logistics and finance departments while supporting customer adoption
  • Current or previous experience as Supply Chain Analyst/Engineer preferred
  • Proven track record of exceeding annual targets and KPIs
  • Ability to multi-task projects and required tasks in an organized fashion
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as self-motivated in individual projects
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in all projects and an ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as necessary.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written to all levels of the organization
Educational/Experience Requirements:
  • 4-10 years of experience in Supply Chain/Logistics for large shippers and/or technology
  • Start-up experience (e.g., Series A, B, or C) strongly preferred
  • 1+ years of experience leading a team of 5 or more direct reports
  • Bachelor’s degree in at least one of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Mathematics. (MBA is a plus)
  • Experience with Customer Change Management preferred
Compensation: $95-125k
