Grounded Air Transport Inc is a family owned business located in Ham Lake, MN. We specialize in time sensative, same day freight utilizing a fleet of courier vans, dock trucks and tractors. We are looking for someone who is self motivated, flexible, works well with others and can problem solve if an issue arises. We have several shifts available including day, 2nd & 3rd shift and weekends. Local, regional & OTR positions available.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a valid DOT health card (we can direct you where to go)
• Must have own truck and bobtail insurance
• Must consent to a pre-employment drug screen.
• No DUI/DWI in the last 3 years
• Must have a valid Class A license
• At least three years of professional driving experience.
• No major accidents/reckless driving in the last 3 years

DESCRIPTION:

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Safe operation of equipment and on-time movement of shipments
• Take and verify dispatch instructions
• Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations
• Operate a tractor-trailer combination
• Follow company procedures for safely loading and unloading freight
• Load and unload freight in varying weather conditions at the company and customer facilities
