Job Summary: The On-Site Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a high-production Clean and Screen facility. This role involves managing the day-to-day activities, coordinating resources, and ensuring that the facility operates efficiently while meeting quality and safety standards. The On-Site Project Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders, including staff, contractors, and clients, to ensure the successful completion of projects within specified timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of projects while meeting quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement corrective actions as required.
- Develop project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and milestones, in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion and growth through effective client relationship management.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide regular updates on project progress and milestones.
- Address client concerns, manage expectations, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor production activities, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and professional development within the team.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures and documentation.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Monitor quality metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Develop and manage budgets for projects, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and cost-effective operations.
- Prepare regular financial reports and present them to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor project expenses, analyze financial data, and identify areas for cost reduction or optimization.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a high-production or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in clean and screen facilities is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of facility operations, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in project management or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Ability to be flexible with job duties and scope of work.
- PMP certification is required.
- Experience working in ERP systems.
- Ability to use functional and situational reasoning.
- Additional certifications in Lean methodologies (such as Lean Six Sigma) are strongly desired.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks to completion.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively balancing multiple concurrent assignments.
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling, as well as movement (walking) throughout the TSC lab.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderately heavy objects (20 to 50+ pounds)
