023698 Office Manager (Open)

Greif Land Management by Soterra is seeking an Office Manager to join our field office in Purvis, MS. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and have experience using Microsoft Office, DocuSign, and Adobe PDF. The primary responsibility of the Office Manager is to manage the administrative tasks related to organizing timber sale documentation and providing support to the field staff with our consulting services business.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage office supplies and inventory
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Update and maintain databases and records
  • Organize and maintain timber sale documentation
  • Perform general administrative duties as required
  • Assist in new business development initiatives
  • Review, code, and submit invoices for payment
  • Provide customer service to clients, both internal and external
  • Provide administrative support to field staff
Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
  • Familiarity with the forestry industry is preferred but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, DocuSign, and Adobe PDF
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Notary Public
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proven experience in an office manager role or similar experience
Education And Experience
  • Typically possesses a High School diploma (or equivalent) and 3-6 years of experience.
Knowledge And Skills
  • Proficient understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Some HR-related knowledge and skills a plus
  • Solid verbal and written communication and customer service skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Proficient knowledge of essential office equipment (i.e., copiers, fax machines, calculators, etc.)
