Office Manager



We are seeking an Office Manager to join our well-established, but rapidly growing Investment Advisory Firm in Raleigh, North Carolina. The mission of the Office Manager is to contribute to the overall function of the firms’ success by supporting our Leadership team through a variety of administrative responsibilities. This position is integral to the success of the operations and client experience of the firm. The office manager will often be the first interaction a client has upon arriving at our firm, and they must be able to fully represent the firm’s brand and values. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role and will value developing meaningful, personal relationships. We are looking for someone that enjoys being part of a small, tightly knit team, that thrives on autonomy over their job, is independent but able to take direction, highly organized, able to track projects and prospects over time, and who is values an amazing office culture. The main responsibilities of the Office Manager will be to oversee the management of our physical office space, provide administrative support, and assist our Leadership team.   • Tech Savvy: Familiar with Microsoft products (Outlook, Word), Client Relationship Management tools (Salesforce), General tech ability to help and troubleshoot with the team and our IT vendor.
  • Process Oriented: Understand current office systems and continuously innovate ways to make the client experience better.
  • Detail Focused: the attention is in the details!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Industry experience preferred, but not required
  • Proficient with filing, phone systems, and scanners
  • 3-5 years of proven experience working in a professional office as an administrative assistant, secretary or office manager
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • This position requires that you possess the following skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combinations of training and experience
  • Exceptional phone skills
  • Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Proficient skills with MS Office Suite and CRM platforms




Hours/Compensation

This is a full-time, salaried position that reports to our Director, Client Service and Operations. This position is eligible for our full benefits package, including generous PTO, Wellness Stipends, Sabbaticals, 401k access with employer contributions, profit sharing, and bonuses, among other perks. Hours for this position are typically 9AM-5PM Monday-Friday, but will be flexible to accommodate various schedules for the right candidate. While our team highly prioritizes consistency, there will be occasional need to work evening and/or weekend client events.
