Title: Office and Shop Cleaner/Helper

Reports to: Director of HSE and Training

Job Status: Full-Time

Summary/Objective: The Office Cleaning position will be tasked to clean the office, shop, and all bathrooms.

Essential Functions: Cleaning must be completed multiple times per week. Activities may include, but is not limited to and include office cleaning, all bathrooms, shop cleaning, and outside area of the shop:

• Clean and disinfect ice machine and eye wash station.
• Stock bathroom supplies.
• Mop bathroom floors with disinfectant cleaner.
• Other cleaning tasks as required.
• Ability to establish priorities and complete work assignments with limited supervision.
• Mop shop floors with floor scrubber or mop.
• Shovel sidewalks as needed.
• Office cleaning must be completed before 7:00 am or after 5:00 pm during the work week.
• Keep up to date on cleaning inventory.
• Detail/clean trucks and equipment.
• Disinfect showers.
• Adhere to Company and governmental operating/safety procedures and environmental regulations
• Dust/disinfect office and bathroom surfaces.
• Required to attend and participate in all safety meetings and assigned training.
• Clean toilets and urinals.
• Empty all trash.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum all floors.
• Clean all windows, glass, and mirrors.
• Turn in time reports and tickets on a timely basis to Rick.
• Promptly report all work incidents to appropriate company personnel.
• Perform all duties in accordance with environmental, health and safety guidelines.
• Participate in periodic meetings with company supervisors, managers, and safety representatives.
• Gas monitor cleaning and maintenance.
• Pick up trash around the shop.
• Fall protection equipment maintenance and cleaning.
• Record, maintain, and submit any and all concerns.

• Perform other related tasks as assigned in a timely manner, following all applicable company and client ’s rules, regulations and policies, as well as Federal, State and local laws.
• Must be able to work weekends when required and report to work as scheduled.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

• Must have valid driver’s license and meet company insurance standards, and have reliable transportation.
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Be a self-motivated team player who is willing to accept responsibility and accountability.
• Work on continuous improvement efforts for self, subordinates, and customers
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and fitness for duty test.
• Must have your own housing.
• Maintains acceptable personal hygiene and professional appearance.
• Must pass a background check.

Work Environment:

The company will supply adequate training and equipment to perform the functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work outside in all weather conditions. The employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, cold weather, extreme heat, sustained noisy environment and vibration.

Physical Demands:

Must be physically able to climb stairs, sit, stand, walk, carry, push, and lift up to 75 lbs., pulling, kneeling, bending, twisting, repetitive wrist and hand movements for extended periods of time, and perform numerous tasks that require physical agility and manual dexterity as well as mental acuity throughout shift.

Position type and expected hours of work:

Must be flexible. The typical schedule is M-F with some flexibility in the work schedule and subject to a rotational work schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent education and technical experience)
