Position Details & Responsibilities

Herk & Associates is excited to be working with leading global manufacturer of material handling solutions on filling this Sales Engineer position based in California. A big focus of this position will be developing their independent dealer network's ability to sell and support their products.

Dealer channel specific responsibilities:

o Developing selected dealers through the dealer certification program

o Building fruitful network and cooperation’s with dealer points of contact

o Leveraging dealers to gain autonomy and grow their business

o Managing and steering dealer expectations, and following up on their commitments

o Following in up dealer sales pipeline, and its reporting

Qualifications

• Team player, able to interact with multiple internal stakeholders and leverage dealer relations
• Market and industry knowledge and association network desirable
• 5+ years’ experience in the field of intralogistics automation processes and software structures
• Flexibility and willingness to travel
• Strong in profitable sales, eager to find value for customers in complex automation projects
• Excellent communication skills for presentations and training
• Experience and understanding in the planning, design and implementation of intralogistics systems
