The hourly wage offered for this position is $16.90 - $23.67.

Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 including 2 doses of a 2-dose series or 1 dose of a 1-dose series plus 14 days beyond the final dose prior to start date.:

Rebound is looking for a part time Occupational Therapy Aide to join our fast-paced, amazing Hand Therapy team. The Occupational Therapy Aide assists our hand therapists with various clinical activities. The aide will help set-up patients for treatment, assist in splint fabrication, and will maintain inventory for department equipment. The ideal candidate will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team, interacting with providers and clinical staff, and must be able to multi-task, have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with patients.

• Perform a variety of other receptionist and general clerical duties as assigned by
• Assist in general department maintenance by performing light housekeeping tasks on
• Monitor patient's reaction to therapy and report significant changes or developments
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and abide by all HIPAA rules and
• Order therapy supplies and maintain inventory of equipment and linen.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Perform scheduled cleaning and maintenance of department equipment and supplies
• Administer routine patient treatment and care to patients of various ages under direct
• Coordinate with Providers, Hand Therapists, reception and clinical staff for patient
• Change linen in patient treatment areas per department procedure.
• Escort patients to treatment as needed

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully.
• Ability to work effectively with patients and co-workers.
• Excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred, Hand and/or Physical Therapy experience preferred.
• Strong interest in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy/health professions as a career preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework preferred.
• BLS certified.
