Boeing has an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Health Nurse to join our team in Everett, WA.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Promote a sense of urgency within the clinic setting creating efficient patient flow patterns
  • Give treatment, administer medication and immunizations, and perform assessments within limits established and authorized by supervision and in accordance with Nursing Procedures manual and/or a health care provider's direction and within the Nurse Practice Act in the State of Washington
  • Refer cases requiring medical attention to a health care provider
  • Interpret existing medical and healthcare procedures and practices to resolve questions involving nursing assessment, treatment and triage
  • Identify and refer employees with test results that are critical and/or who have urgent values needing immediate attention
  • Advise and direct care when working with medical assistants
  • Provide nursing service to employees with injuries and/or illnesses including emergency and urgent care


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

If the successful candidate is not a “U.S. Person“(as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 “U.S. Person” includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees) and the position requires access to export-controlled data, an appropriate export authorization by the U.S. Government may be required prior to such access. Employment, and the continuity of employment of non-U.S. persons, is contingent upon the company’s ability to secure and maintain the necessary export control authorization.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Critical thinking, attention to detail, positive attitude
  • 1+ years of nursing experience in outpatient settings and/or occupational nursing
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Currently holding an active Registered Nurse license in the state of Washington, or eligible to obtain such licensure

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience delivering occupational health care
  • Certified in Occupational Health Nursing by the American Board for Occupational Health Nurses and/or certified in Case Management by the Commission for Case Manager Certification


Relocation:
