Job Description
OB Technician II - Delivery Room - ( 87362 )

Po sit i on H i gh li ghts:
  • Position: OB Technician II – Delivery Room
  • Location: Evanston Hospital
  • Full Time/Part Time: Part-time (24hrs/wk)
  • Hours: Night Shift 11:00PM-7:00AM and 3:00PM-11:00PM with rotating weekends
  • Required Travel: N/A

What you will need :
  • License: N/A
  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required and a minimum of one clinical rotation in nursing school
  • Certification: BLS/CPR and Certified Nursing Assistant certification (by the State of Illinois) required
  • Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Able to work under pressure and exhibit good judgment in setting priorities.

What you will do :
  • Assist RN in direct patient care and other activities essential to unit functioning
  • Work under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager or designated RN
  • Perform scrub tech duties, assist in maintaining supplies and equipment, may perform clerical duties on occasion, and promote general neatness and safety on the unit under supervision of designated shift supervisor and medical staff
  • Guidelines include all departmental, personnel, and hospital policies and procedures.
