Position Purpose:
Performs a variety of food service and dish room duties aimed at providing our residents, their guests, and staff with fast, friendly, accurate and safe service while dining at the Tower Bistro, Lakeview Dining Room, The Oak Room, and the Savannah Dining Room. These duties include preparation, presentation, and service of food as well as sanitation and cleaning duties as assigned by management. Proactively seeks knowledge of menu items and ingredients. Each server has the responsibility of providing a safe environment for residents and staff through working immediately to correct any hazards and unsafe conditions or reporting conditions to management as well as working safely as not to endanger themselves, co-workers, or residents.
SERVES OUR RESIDENTS

• Provide residents with fast and friendly service
• Adhere to all Health Code policies and standards as ordained by the Health Department
• Maintain the sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen and dining room
• Ensure all stored food and beverages are accurately labeled and dated
• Rotate all food and beverages for freshness
• Purge any expired food and beverages

• Be in uniform at all times including non-slip, brown or black shoes

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and special events
• Friendly customer service skills
• Previous food service and/or bartending experience strongly preferred
• Must be able to obtain Shreveport ABO and Louisiana Responsible Vendors card.
• Good communication skills
