Title: Senior Manager of Strategy and Insights
Reports to: Executive Director of Marketing and Customer Success
Supervises: Customer Insights Analyst
Overview:
The Senior Manager of Insights and Strategy is responsible for harnessing insights from Nuuly’s addressable market regarding evolving consumer behaviors and motivations and translating these learnings into strategic initiatives. This role works cross functionally across the organization, focused on longer term, profitable growth for the rapidly growing Nuuly brand.
Responsibilities:
  • Create presentations and other materials for key stakeholders, including Board of Directors, executive team, and employees that share strategic priorities and progress of Nuuly brand.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats that may impact the business, utilizing both market data and first party data.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and behaviors via qualitative and quantitative research to inform the development of new products, services, and a loyalty strategy.
  • Generate a loyalty strategy for Nuuly focused that both drives brand love and incremental profitability per customer. Partner with finance, CRM, analytics, product, etc. to ensure successful design, execution, and evolution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partners, including other URBN brands and shared services, vendors, customers, and industry organizations, to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
  • Grow Nuuly’s sustainability initiatives with a focus on prioritization, measurability, and cross-functional participation.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics to monitor progress against strategic objectives and recommend course corrections as needed.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
  • Work closely with the product management and marketing teams to ensure that new products and services align with the company's strategic objectives and meet customer needs.
Qualifications:
  • Highly competent at creating aesthetically pleasing and data-rich presentations
  • Ability to aggregate, analyze and summarize complex data to broad audiences
  • Demonstrate a passion for and understanding of the Nuuly, customers and product.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in Strategy and Customer Insights roles (some loyalty experience preferred)
