Aitkin Health Services is looking for a Nursing Home Administrator to join our team!

Aitkin Health Services is accepting applications for an Administrator. Aitkin Health Services is a 44-bed long term care center located in Aitkin, MN. This is a full time, salaried position. Starting salary will be dependent on previous work experience. We offer a competitive benefit package.

The primary purpose of this position is to conduct the ongoing business of the care center in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care facilities to assure that the individual receiving services highest quality of life and level of care is maintained. Responsible for all business operations, including management of the assets of the care center; hiring, training, promotion, discipline and termination of employees; and for establishing and maintaining the business organization and structure to efficiently conduct the management functions of the care center. Plan for and administer programs providing service in accordance with the care center’s stated mission and purpose in such a manner that optimum results are achieved in relation to the resources of the care center.

Job Summary:

Job Requirements:

  • Must possess a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license or meet the licensure requirements of this State.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is necessary. A degree in Public Health Administration or Business Administration, or a health related degree is preferred but not required.
  • Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long term care center.
