Nursing Clinical Manager / RN - Utilization Management / Case Management - MSW
The Nursing Clinical Manager serves as a resource/mentor for Case Managers, Social Workers and other institutional personnel, and participates in the development and implementation of new Institutional initiatives. The NCM reports to and assists the Director of Care Transitions and Population Health in providing ongoing education to Case Managers and other hospital personnel as needed. The Nursing Clinical Manager collaborates with Appeals Management, Managed Care Contracting and other institutional departments to ensure contractual compliance and optimal reimbursement by Third Party Payers.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work with the Director of Nursing for Case Management on transforming transitions of care programs within the Mount Sinai Hospital
- Serve as a resource to staff on utilization management and services
- Lead and facilitate the quality and performance improvement of 15-18 case managers
What You'll Bring:
- CCM not required at hire, but will need to be acquired after
- Case Management experience as staff or supervisor preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing - BSN Required (MSN preferred)

Compensation
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $95450 - $143175 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
