Nursing Assistant Training Jobs

JOB SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this job is to assist in rendering total direct resident care to meet residents’ needs for activities of daily living. A Nursing Assistant Training “NAT” performs the regular duties of a Certified Nursing Assistant, the only difference being that they have completed a state approved Certified Nursing Assistant program but have not yet passed the required state exams for licensure. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Have current and initial certification by examination: Satisfactory completion of a Nevada Board of Nursing approved Certified Nursing Assistant program; and Pass the competency evaluation required by the Nevada Board of Nursing.
Experience
None required.
On-the-job training provided.
Job Knowledge
None other than as evidenced by education.
Standards
Education, certification and licensure as a Certified Nurse
Aide as described above.
