Position Summary
Career Readiness Learning Objectives:

Critical Thinking- The student worker will assist faculty in the setup and maintenance of the nursing skills lab activities.
Career and Self Development—The student worker will proactively develop knowledge of items commonly used in the nursing profession, leading to competence with skills performance and increased self-confidence in the role of a professional nurse.

The student worker will be responsible for:
  • Ability to maintain an organized workspace
  • Managing inventory including items currently available and those arriving from vendors demonstrate a positive proactive attitude
  • Willingness to assist students in learning during open lab hours
  • Set up and tear down of skills labs for nursing students

Required Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years of nursing education. Available during weekend and/or evening hours for open lab. In good standing in the nursing program.

Preferred Qualifications
Nursing student clinical experience.

Physical Demands
The position may require bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, walking or standing for short distances, periods of time.
