Job Description
HealthDrive is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP/APRN) to work Full Time at a nursing facility in the South Kingstown, RI area.

The Nurse Practitioner will provide primary, post-acute, and preventative care for residents in a nursing home/assisted living facility/long-term care facility setting.


Essential Functions


  • Maintain accurate records and schedules.
  • DEA/Controlled Substance License
  • State professional Nurse Practitioner license
  • Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
  • Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases.
  • Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications.
  • Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics, and prevention.
  • Ability to use email, the internet, and to learn other healthcare related software.
  • Oversee patients’ overall health.
  • Prescribe medications.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with on-site staff.
  • Board Certification Required
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college/university
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
