The Champlain College Student Health Center is actively searching for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a full-time, 10-month employee.

The Student Health Center plays a crucial role in supporting the health and mental well-being of our diverse student population. As an integral member of our team, you will have the chance to make a positive difference in the lives of our students and contribute to their overall success.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a vital liaison between the Student Health Center and the counseling team.
- Assist with administrative responsibilities related to our psychiatry program, quality assurance, and broader health promotion initiatives on campus.
- Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, including the medical director, assistant medical director, RN, health promotions coordinator, office coordinator, psychiatric NP, and per diem NPs.
- Provide direct patient care to a college-aged population, with a specific focus on mental health (35% of visits are mental health-related).

Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification
- Proven experience in delivering high-quality patient care, especially with mental health concerns
- Ability to work independently, showing intellectual curiosity and self-motivation
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player and collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for working with college-aged individuals
- Comfortable with prescribing psychiatric medication (high level of comfort preferred)
