Responsibilities:

• Act as a vital liaison between the Student Health Center and the counseling team.
• Assist with administrative responsibilities related to our psychiatry program, quality assurance, and broader health promotion initiatives on campus.
• Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, including the medical director, assistant medical director, RN, health promotions coordinator, office coordinator, psychiatric NP, and per diem NPs.
• Provide direct patient care to a college-aged population, with a specific focus on mental health (35% of visits are mental health-related).

Requirements:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification
• Proven experience in delivering high-quality patient care, especially with mental health concerns
• Ability to work independently, showing intellectual curiosity and self-motivation
• Demonstrated ability to be a team player and collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for working with college-aged individuals
• Comfortable with prescribing psychiatric medication (high level of comfort preferred)
