Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for managing patient care and treatment (in person, telephonically and/or video) in collaboration with the physician. The NP will be providing urgent care to our CareMore members, which can include acute care, chronic care, or healthy start or healthy journey visits. The NP will also assist with providing medical care to our subspecialty patients as needed.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
• Performs health assessments and preventative health measures within prescribed guidelines and physician instructions.
• Participates in On-Call program, which may include after-hours, weekend and holiday calls and visitations.
• Discusses case with physician.
• Assess and evaluate patients during our walk in hours and be able to triage them appropriately depending on their medical necessities.
• Formulates and documents care plan. Prescribes medication or other forms of treatment.

Position Requirements:

• Current unrestricted RN license and NP license in Nevada required.
• Requires an MS in Nursing and minimum of 1 year of related experience with clinical emphasis for nurse practitioner; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

For CareMore business units, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $108,108 to $165,165.
