Substation Laborers: Education Requirements: High School diploma or GED equivalent; or equivalent combinations of training and experience. Electrical experience preferred. Position Summary: Works with the substation or collection crew on various manual labor throughout the construction project. Tasks require worker with varied experience and ability to work without close supervision by performing the following duties. Essential Job Functions Perform site evaluations and general clean up. Perform all manner of manual labor. Use of hand tools and power tools as needed. Assist the apprentices and journeyman with the installation of ground grid and conduit. Assist the apprentices and journeyman with the installation of above ground conduit, grounding, buss work, equipment installation, etc. Assists the apprentices and journeyman with building stands and setting equipment including tightening of anchor bolts. Assists the apprentices and journeyman in steel assembly, including the torqueing and marking of the hardware. Assist with transport of materials around the jobsite. Assist the apprentices and journeyman with placing raceways inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pulling of insulated wires and cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes. Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects. Provide assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights and generators, placing flares, and driving needed vehicles. Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly. Grading: Position Summary: This position will work with the civil crew assisting in installation/removal of silt fence, installing culvert pipe, placement of signs, layout of roadways, and assisting civil work where needed. Essential Functions: Assists with laying pipe, silt fence, fencing, and puts up signage. Loads, unloads, and stacks equipment and materials. Spots trucks or trailers. Sets up jobsite trailer and tears down at the end of the project. Garbage site clean-up. Safety and Security

Concrete: Position Summary: Works on construction projects by transferring from one task to another where demands require worker with varied experience and ability to work without close supervision by performing the following duties. Essential Job Functions Sets forms to hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth and align them. Signals truck driver to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete and move chute/hose to direct concrete within forms. Produces finished concrete surface using broom. Operates power vibrator to consolidate concrete. Spreads, levels, and smooths concrete using rake, shovel, or hand trowel. Molds expansion joints and edges using edging tools, Jointers, and straightedge. Monitors how the wind, heat or cold affect the curing of the concrete throughout the entire process. Uses appropriate hand and powers tools to properly measure, cut, assemble and install forms, rebar, embeds, and anchor bolts. Performs site evaluations and general clean-up.
