Staff Accountant 3 DAYS IN OFFICE

Salary: $70K - $80K

A well established not for profit institution is seeking a Staff Accountant. Responsibilities will initially focus on many of the line items on the balance sheet which includes bank reconciliations, reviewing accounts receivable (recording cash receipts), amortizing prepaids and managing the full cycle of accounts payable. Eventually the candidate will assist with the month end close which includes heavy account reconciliation , recording month end journal entries as well as performing analytical review by comparing budget to actual and developing commentaries to explain material differences. The candidate must possess a BA in Accounting and have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
