Quick Description:

The Aloft Raleigh is looking for a self-driven Night Auditor to provide excellent service no matter the hour. The Night Auditor is responsible for reconciling and balancing hotel cashier transactions while providing efficient and genuine guest service.

Aloft provides a fast-paced, family atmosphere, where people and their hard work are celebrated and rewarded.

Job Requirements:

  • Keep management abreast of any unusual operational or financial events and/or deviations of policies or procedures
  • Audit, reconcile and balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations
  • Answer telephone calls with a kind and appropriate greeting, answer guest questions and offer information and assistance regarding hotel services
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction and handle guest requests
  • Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions
  • Perform guest services functions such as check guests in/out, make reservations, set wake up calls, etc.
  • Ensure accuracy of all numbers reported including statistics
  • Prepare and distribute necessary reports as required according to hotel standards

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Computer knowledge/skills required
  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
  • Late/Overnight shift, must be able to stay awake during the entire shift
  • One year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required
  • Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of information
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag
  • Must be effective at anticipating, preventing, and solving problems when necessary

BONUS POTENTIAL: After the successful completion of 60 shifts worked you will be eligible for a $200 bonus!!
