Summary:Ensures new product launches are successfully completed in a timely manner by managing project deadlines, communicating efficiently, and providing administrative support to the engineering team.
Education and/or Experience:
Requires a high school diploma and one to three years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nature & Scope-Principal Areas of Responsibilities:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Working from the Processing RFQ Maintenance, fill up spreadsheets blanks for all new quotes submitted by Sales. Including Customer, Part#, quantities and find out what type of material. Place any request on hold based on missing information and inform sales.
- Leads new product and revision change meetings to communicate project requirements and updates to inside sales team and wider organization as and when required.
- Identifies potential project risks and develops/implements strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
- Manages new product development board checklist, ensures all necessary material and tooling is on hand, and completes set up and documentation for new product projects.
- Review material utilization and outside fab providers to ensure most profitable processes are being followed.
- Collaborates with other business locations for initial communication of joint projects.
- May coach and mentor developing colleagues.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
- Follow and comply with all safety regulations, work rules, and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
- Ability to operate a computer and standard office machines.
- General knowledge of company products and procedures.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and other employees of the organization.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Project, and Teams
- Flexible, self-motivated, trustworthy and a team player.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
