Registered Nurse Residency Program - Full Time (3, 12-hour Shifts, Day or Night available) with Benefits!
MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) is an award-winning inpatient care hospital located in the heart of Washington, D.C., specializing in treating persons with physical disabilities, including spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, arthritis, amputation, multiple sclerosis, post-polio syndrome, orthopedic, and other neurological conditions.
MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital's Nurse Residency program provides support to new graduates as they transition to professional practice. The program is designed to provide each nurse with the tools necessary to deliver safe, effective, and competent high-quality patient care.
The Nurse Residency program is managed by experienced clinical educators who facilitate both classroom and clinical orientation components. Our dedicated educators provide participants with an exceptional level of individualized attention throughout the residency program.

Our Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred. Associate's degree in nursing is required. No experience required.
RN Academic Requirement: If prepared at the associate degree in nursing level, required to enroll in a BSN program within 6 months of hire date and completion within 3 years
Certification/Registration/Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Washington, D.C. and BLS is required.
