Network Architect Jobs

This role will report to the VP of Network, Infrastructure & Security and will be responsible for the overall health and configuration of the AWP Safety network and will oversee all topology including network segmentation, IP management and access control. This architect will manage SD-WAN configuration as well as firewall and other edge devices to ensure that they meet security guidelines as defined. This role will help oversee our migration to the cloud and help define a strategy to modernize legacy infrastructure.

• Maximizes performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades.
• Strong communication skills and ability to troubleshoot remotely.
• Establishes and maintains network performance.
• Configures routers.
• Defines, documents, and enforces system standards.
• IP address auditing.
• Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.
• Collaborates with team members on network optimization.
• Participate in architectural discussions and technology choices
• Accomplishes organizational mission by completing related results as needed.
• Updates/upgrades network equipment across multiple locations.
• Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration and directing system installation.
• Troubleshoots network problems.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.
• Install/Configures network equipment

• Knowledge of Fortinet equipment a plus
• Understanding of ZTNA/SASE architecture a plus
• Knowledge of Azure networking concepts a plus
• Knowledge of VeloCloud or Cradlepoint a plus
