.Net Back-End Developer Contractor

We are looking for a .NET back-end developer with experience building system to system data integrations

What You'll Do

• Investigate and analyze reported defects in a timely manner, and recommend solutions to these problems including code changes, data updates, or configuration modifications
• Ensure proper interface logging and observability features are in place and effective to meet business needs
• Participate in all aspects of our Agile SDLC including requirements analysis and design
• Design, develop, document, enhance, and maintain current and new data interfaces using Microsoft Technology Stack (C#, .NET Framework, MS SQL)
• Provide input to execute on efforts to improve the efficiency and quality of our development projects
• Conduct and assist in unit, full integration, and production testing

Required Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience (non-academic) with demonstrable experience and fundamental understanding of C# and .NET Framework
• Experience with OOP concepts & design patterns such as IoC and DI
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful Web APIs
• Experience with implementing and supporting ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Experience with defensive, secure coding methodologies and practices including unit testing and consideration of edge cases
• Experience with designing and developing both NoSQL and relational databases (SQL Server)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred. Experience in lieu of degree may be accepted
• Experience with leveraging testing frameworks such as Postman
• Experience with reviewing vendor documentation and resources to understand and validate points of integrations such as APIs, source configurations and protocols

Preferred Skills

• Should be comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources
• Solution-oriented self-starter with positive attitude and the desire to innovate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Knowledge of claims-based architecture, single sign on integrations, or other Web API authentication models
• Experience with AWS Cloud Platform and services such as SQS, S3, Batch, Lambda, and CloudWatch
• Solid understanding of Agile Development, Testing and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment methods

• Hourly range for this position: $70-$80

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate’s total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Monster complies with all local wage and hour laws.
