Job Description

AS A NDT TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL:

  • Performs Radiographic, Penetrant, and Visual Inspection of pressure retaining welds to ensure mechanical integrity.
  • Seeks out and implements continuous process improvement opportunities.
  • Administers and evaluates Liquid Penetrant Examinations.
  • Interprets digital and computed radiographs in accordance with codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Identifies unique problems with welding or surface discontinuities and may be asked to propose solutions.
  • Performs Positive Material Analysis on process wetted materials to ensure chemical compatibility with customer requirements.
  • Develops new techniques and procedures for product development and custom Engineer to Order (ETO) processes required by customers.
  • Captures detailed, precise inspection information on digital lab reports.
  • Participates in the radiation dose monitoring program.
  • Stays cognizant of the calibration and safety status of the equipment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Required to work weekend and evening hours.
  • Proficiency in welding and in-process visual inspection.
  • ASNT Level II certification pursuit is a requirement of this role.
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English and be understood.
  • Computer savvy is essential to the success of this role.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Knowledge of handling and storage of hazardous materials.
  • Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Programming computer numeric controls.
  • Experience with NDT methods.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the salary range for this role is $44,000- $66,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
