Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough verification and analysis of healthcare professionals' credentials, licenses, certifications, education, and work experience.
  • Have a working knowledge of NCQA credentialing standards
  • Assist with completing NCQA credentialing accreditation and re-accreditation surveys.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, assisting them in completing necessary documentation and addressing any inquiries related to the credentialing process.
  • Utilize electronic systems and databases to manage and track credentialing documents and status updates.
  • Assist the organization with applying for or obtaining NCQA credentialing accreditation or re-accreditation.
  • Identify and address any discrepancies or issues in credentialing documents promptly and escalate as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Able to work onsite daily
  • Strong understanding of healthcare terminology, licensing regulations, and professional qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience directly assisting in the completion of an NCQA credentialing accreditation/re-accreditation survey
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working for an organization with an NCQA-accredited credentialing program
