Position Description:

We are looking for a Natural Gas Engineer to join our ICE Team to improve infrastructure in our Pittsburgh office. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and 10 plus years of similar work experience. Professional Engineer License is preferred. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 90 days of employment.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Work with and mentor junior design team
  • Coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors
  • Experience with the design and construction of natural gas pipelines
  • Attend seminars and/or training classes
  • Conduct on-site field walks as needed
  • Create estimated time requirements for projects
  • Ability to work independently
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Prepare computer-generated natural gas pipeline and mechanical working drawings
  • Attend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc.
  • Grow and maintain excellent client relations
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals
  • Monitor task budget and progress
  • Generate bill of materials
  • Prepare project status and other reports

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required

Skills/Experience:

  • Professional Engineer License preferred
  • 10 plus years of experience required
