Core Responsibilities
Communication
  • Develop & lead the team SharePoint site that drives engagement & advises our field team
  • Partner with Marketing in recommending, testing, and rolling out In-Store Material
  • Coordinate plans and materials for the Business Unit Market Runs
  • Develop & complete (in coordination with sales and marketing) all new product launch training & materials for the field.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations and Field Managers to develop & deploy in store merchandising priorities, directions and surveys for our field retail merchandising force
  • Load calls into a mobile field force automation tool to enable execution.
Systems and Tools
  • Lead the field retail execution tool uploading call hours and survey questions & coordinate with local and global teams to ensure field tools are efficient and working properly
  • Partner with IT on merchandiser hardware setup and deployment. Testing & communication of upcoming hardware & software changes/updates
  • Find opportunities for existing and new software and hardware to increase productivity/positive user experience. Partner with IT to lead department assets.
  • Collaborate with Account Operations Managers & Field Manager to lead retailer owned tools (Setup, roll out, maintenance)
Reporting & Admin
  • Own Vendor Management for the department, including user set up, PO creation, and communication
  • Collaborate with Trade Marketing to package shipments of POP in the most cost effective and timely approach
  • Develop & deliver coverage summary reports post coverage to key partners including storyline, key findings, and actions.
  • Lead supplies for the department – order, ship, retrieve to/from merchandisers

The National Merchandising Team provides retail merchandising services to over six thousand Target and Walmart stores and key regional customers within the United States. The primary focus of this team is to deliver a best-in-class retail experience to the LEGO shopper. We are the eyes and ears for the company and are responsible for performing retail operations (e.g., pack out product, build displays, inventory reconciliation, etc.) to drive conversion, deepen engagement and address competitive threats while at the same time developing strong partnerships with our retail partners.
The National Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for providing dedicated support to the National Merchandising Program. In this role, you are working with sales, marketing, IT, and global/local sales development teams. You are 1 of 2 critical corporate based team members that enable our field employees to be able to not just complete, but to do so at a high level. The focus for this role is to connect our field team with our home office teams through timely and effective communication as well as operational support. You coordinate the flow of information in and of the field and ensure that the tools and systems we are using support the needs of the team.
This role is 1 of 2 critical roles on our team that enable our field merchandising organization to operate. Our coordinator enables our resources to know where to go and what to do when they get there – ensuring that our shoppers and consumers have access to our products. This role is all about creating the connection between our field team, to our home office team to our retail partners.

New Location Update
The current work location for this role is 501 Boylston Street, Boston, MA. In 2025, we will transition to our new permanent office location at 1001 Boylston Street, Boston MA. Specific move dates for roles are to be determined and communicated in 2024.
