Position: Part-Time Preschool Music Teacher

Location: Washington DC and surrounding areas

Start Date: September 1

Responsibilities:

- Conduct interactive and engaging music classes for preschool-aged children, incorporating a variety of musical instruments, songs, rhythms, and movement activities.

- Develop and implement comprehensive music lesson plans that support children's musical development and stimulate their creativity.

- Foster a love for music and inspire a lifelong appreciation for the arts among young learners.

- Collaborate with the Tunes 4 Tots team to ensure consistency in teaching methods and curriculum delivery.

Qualifications:

- Strong musical background and proficiency in singing and playing various instruments.

- Experience working with preschool-aged children and designing age-appropriate music lessons.

- Knowledge of early childhood development and the ability to tailor music instruction to meet children’s needs.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with young children.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
