JOB DESCRIPTION: MOTION GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN

FYI is seeking a talented and creative Motion Graphics Intern to join our dynamic team. As a Motion Graphics Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to exciting projects. This internship is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and expand your portfolio while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

This role isin-person. Remote or hybrid candidates will not be considered.

Duties include creating motion and graphic design assets daily with rapid turnaround time and brainstorming and sketching ideas with cross-functional teams.

We work in small teams to solve problems, come up with solutions, and support one another. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, collaborative, and eager to make an impact at a fast-growing company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Stay up-to-date with current trends/techniques in motion graphics and animation to bring fresh ideas to the team.
• Create visually compelling motion graphics and animations (e.g. 2D/3D videos, presentations, promotional materials, etc.) of the FYI app’s features, for the purpose of marketing and communicating product benefits to users.
• Have a clear understanding of the FYI app’s features in order to create accurate and compelling video content about the product. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy and quick to understand app features and how to communicate to end users.
• Edit and enhance existing video footage to create engaging and professional content.
• Assist in the production process, including asset organization, file management, and quality control to ensure smooth project execution.
• Collaborate with the UI/UX designers to conceptualize ideas for motion graphics that align with project objectives and brand guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degreein graphic design, motion graphics, animation, or a related field.
• Have excellent oral/written communication, project management, multi-tasking, and decision-making skills.
• Tech-savvy with an innate understanding of app UI/UX design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating motion design
• Ability to understand tech product features quickly and devise ways to communicate features to end users in a visual way
• 2+years of experience as a motion graphics designer
• Excellent skills in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
• A passion for motion graphics and a desire to stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in the field.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.78 - $20.00 per hour
