As part of the Endeavor Schools Family, The Baltimore Montessori is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Leader to provide day-to-day leadership to the school with students ranging in age from infants to early learners at our campus located in Locust Point, Baltimore, MD. We are looking for a passionate leader, who is hungry to learn and ready to collaborate with a strong and amazing team of educators.

The primary objectives of the School Leader are to inspire positive community interactions, ensure quality care and education of all children, and foster and develop the educational environments and staff. The chosen candidate also will facilitate the implementation of the Montessori curriculum in a safe, healthy, and nurturing classroom environment that supports each child's social, emotional, and intellectual growth and development, as well as creates a family-focused environment that encourages our school community's growth.

Starting Pay: $80,000-$85,000 , depending on education and experience.

Experience and EducationAre You Qualified?

Whether or not you have experience working in schools, you may be qualified to work with us. The most important quality is that you love working with children. Some of our best educators have come from other fields, including customer service, healthcare, retail, and more!

If you have the following, we would love to speak with you:

• May occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in Montessori education preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with technology and software applications including the current version of MS Office.
• Must be Maryland Director qualified and other Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Education is preferred. An equivalent combination of AA degree, training, and 3-5 years experience in the field of Education will be considered.
• A minimum of 3 years of managerial experience with strong performance results.
