Job Summary/Basic Functions
Position will design and implement innovative and research-based instruction in math for secondary students in a k-12 laboratory school environment. In addition to providing daily instruction, the teacher will also be responsible for general duties of student supervision, as well as mentoring and instruction of university pre-service teachers.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or above with teacher certification in subject area
Experience:
Licensure & Certifications: Kentucky certification for teaching secondary mathematics
Preferred Qualifications:
Successful experience as a teacher
Job Duties:

• 10% - Provide student supervision, as well as mentoring and instruction of university pre-service teachers. - (Essential)
• 80% - Design and implement innovative and research-based instruction for in math and science for middle grade students in a laboratory school environment - (Essential)
• 10% - Maintain required trainings, professional development and promotion and tenure responsibilities. - (Essential)
