Our Revere Memory Care Director (Memory Care Manager) is responsible for the overall implementation, delivery, and coordination of resident care services for the Memory Care neighborhood. What will you do as a Director of Memory Care?
  • Maintain current departmental policies, procedures, and licenses, in accordance with company, Federal, State, and local requirements.
  • Establish and maintain medication program with oversight by RSD.
  • Understand the community's care regulations along with state-specific regulations.
  • Provide training and orientation to all Care Partners and Medication Care Partners.
  • Provide emotional support and education to families experiencing dementia.
  • Maintain a high degree of resident satisfaction through consistent delivery of high-quality services.
  • Provide activities of daily assistance to the residents as needed.
  • Support resident distressed behavior through validation, care plan non-pharmacologic prevention, and intervention for resident distress.
  • Assist the Resident Services Director to perform assessments and reassessments according to policies.
  • Ensure resident records and charting is current and up to date.
  • Supervise, develop, and schedule the care staff according to the company's policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Responsible for the overall Cadence Signature Lifestyle programming and engagement of residents in Revere Memory Care in collaboration with the Lifestyles team.
  • Act as the contact for non-clinical issues related to resident care in Memory Care.
  • Coach Care Partners to the culture and standards of Cogir Revere Memory Care.
If You Have These Qualifications, We'd Love To Chat
  • CDP certification is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends and on call.
  • A high degree of accuracy in all assignments; ability to manage time effectively, work with numerous interruptions, strength in showing initiative, and good judgment; employing professional ethics; with a pleasant manner, good communication skills, strong teamwork, and the ability to motivate.
  • A degree in gerontology, nursing (LPN), social work, or in a related field is preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), or Senior Living is required!
  • Dementia experience in a supervisory role is required.
  • Knowledge of various computer systems, particularly Excel and Word, and comfortable learning new programs.
