Position Summary:

The Medication Technician is responsible for implementing procedures for dispensing resident medications, inventory, and maintaining/ordering residents' prescriptions. We are looking for a candidate with a great attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and solid prior experience dispensing medications. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, strong at multi-tasking, and dedicated to high-quality patient care.

Location and Shift:

This position is located in our Women's Residential Substance Use Treatment Facility. Full-Time (40 Hrs per week) SWING SHIFT 2 PM- 10 PM

Compensation:

Pay Rate: $17.00-$21.00/ Hr. Depending on certification and experience level

Signing Bonus: $2000.00 Signing Bonus; Paid in two increments $1000.00 after Initial Hire and $1000.00 at the successful completion of the 6-month evaluation period.

Requirements:

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

• H.S. Completion or equivalent
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• More than one-year relevant experience in handling medications
• Valid Oregon Driver's Licence and Clean 3year driving history
• Proficient with technology
• Certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers

Employment Requirements:

• Pre-Employment Drug Screening (Including THC)
• Criminal Background check conducted by the Department of Human Services Background Check Unit
