B3H Corporation is seeking qualified Medical Support Instructors to perform formal classroom instruction in support of the Department of the Navy, Center for Security Forces (CENSECFOR) Expeditionary Combat Skills (ECS) training courses at Gulfport, MS. The ECS course provides basic combat skills to individuals attached to units within the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) and Naval Special Warfare (NSW) organizations. ECS Medical Support Instructors will deliver formal course curriculum in the areas of Basic First Aid, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC).
- Maintain proper dress code and grooming standards
- Maintain the personal standards of technical and professional levels of competence that are at least equal to that of the Department of the Navy military personnel undergoing training
- Promote a cohesive team environment to reach the customer mission requirements
- Provide tutoring and other remediation to improve student course performance.
- Provide other classroom and laboratory instructions to ECS students following COIs including Land Navigation; CBRN Protection, CBRNE Event, Operational Risk Management, Individual Combat Equipment, etc.
- Provide classroom and laboratory instructions to ECS students following Course of Instructions (COI) including Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC); Care Under Fire; Tactical Field Care; Tactical Evaluation; Environmental Injuries; Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (MTBI).
- Provide for daily set-up and maintenance of all medical training aides utilized in ECS training
- Maintain qualifications and certifications required to perform Instructor duties
- Conduct eight (8) hours training day, (early morning, evening, or night shift) five (5) days a week for the length of the course (Daily activity may extend up to 12 hours if required to meet all training objectives outlined in the curriculum)
- A minimum of two (2) years’ documented tactical military operational experience in Basic Tactical Communications, Convoy Operations - Basic, Small Arms, Tactical Shooting, Counter Improvised Explosive Devices (C-IED), Mission Planning, Basic Tactical Movement, Basic CBRNE Procedures; and Tactical Decision Making (Shoot/Don’t Shoot)
- Possess 2 years of experience as an instructor delivering training
- Possess Academic credentialing (teacher/professor)
- Possess knowledge of basic and advanced training techniques
- [Desired] have and maintain current Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) certification in accordance with the latest Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) standards
- [Desired] TCCC certified Medical Support Instructors shall have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in providing military first aid or emergency room / trauma center care
- Possess knowledge of computer technology application as it applies to instructional presentation and the use of classroom training aids
- Possess at least two (2) years of experience in providing military first aid or emergency room / trauma center care
- Possess above average communication skills and the ability to comprehend both verbal and written instructions
- Have attended the Navy Instructor Training Course (NITC) (A-012-0077) (or military service equivalent)
- [Highly Desired] Possess 2 years of experience in conducting land navigation
- Possess Instructor training via an academic institution. Academic ITC requirements should contain at a minimum, these Learning Objectives (a) Effective communication and questioning techniques; (b) Adult learning theory and principles; (c) Instructional Delivery methods; (d) Lesson delivery performance laboratory; (e) Training environment management; (f) Inter-personal skills; (g) Evaluation and Feedback (e.g. Tidewater Community College, MILT 5100)
- One (1) year HQ ACC Division level office manager experience.
- Experience assisting with calendar management to include de-conflicting meeting requests, travel plans, scheduling meetings, changing meeting times, and providing meeting support.
- Five (5) years’ experience knowledge in the management of calendar appointments and the tracking of taskers using NIPR/SIPR Microsoft Outlook organizational email accounts.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, TMT, and Defense Travel System.
- Experience managing Division level calendars to ensure meetings are scheduled with appropriate personnel and de- conflicted with other meetings.
- Provide administrative support to HQ ACC A5/8/9 support in the areas of Core Function Team Plans, Programming and Requirements, Weapons System Team, and Resource Management.
- Experience integrating inputs from Division members for staff meetings, and external reporting within ACC up to the Directorate level.
