Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring Medical Laboratory Scientists or Medical Laboratory Technicians to work Full-Time, days, evenings, or nights in the Core Lab.

Sign on bonus up to $20,000 for qualified candidates!

Qualified candidates must have a bachelors degree or an associates degree and have an ASCP or AMT certification or be eligible for their certification.

Job Summary

Performs laboratory tests; interprets results; documents and reports results. Maintains department equipment, instruments, and tools.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required. ASCP or AMT certification required. Candidates with the required education/experience and are eligible for the examination have within one year from the date of hire to obtain certification. Certification must remain current for continued employment
