Salary Range: Min/Hour $28.94 Mid/Hour $37.96 Max/Hour $46.98

SALARY NOTE:
Salary range will be determined based upon education level and experience. Posted range is for the MLS II position.
SIGN ON BONUS:
Position is eligible for up to a $10,000 sign on bonus paid out over 3 years. Additional terms and conditions apply. Please note that current University of Vermont Health Network employees are excluded from eligibility for this bonus.
SHIFT: This is a float position between days and evenings.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Performs, calculates, reviews and reports laboratory diagnostic tests. Performs phlebotomy as needed. Maintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment. Understands the clinical significance of the testing performed. Responsibilities for correction of procedural / instrument issues. Responsible for teaching, training and mentoring.
EDUCATION:
Depending upon position, either an associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Medical Lab Science is required. If certificate qualified, certification to occur within 1 year of hire.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum experience – MLS or MLT internship completed.
