Medical Device Quality Systems Coordinator

Akkodis is seeking a Medical Device Quality Systems Coordinator for a six month contract position with the possibility of extension or perm conversion with a client located in Mount Prospect, IL. You will support the Quality Systems Manager and Sr. Quality Systems Specialist on day-to-day tasks related to document management, training, auditing (internal/external), calibration, metrics, and the CAPA process. Hours are 8:00 - 4:30pm CST (30-minute lunch) Monday through Friday. Starts as onsite and will develop into a hybrid position in a few months.

Pay/Salary Range: $40.00 and $45.00 per hour.

Medical Device Quality Systems Coordinator job responsibilities include:

• MasterControl Maintenance - New employee set-up, Employee terminations, Password resets, Administrative back-up.

• Training coordinator - Course set-up, Filing, Reporting

• Internal Audit coordinator – Scheduling, Status Tracking, Initiating CAPAs/NCRs

• Calibration maintenance

• Data Analytics - Quality reporting (i.e., quality scorecard), Maintain quality manufacturing storyboards

• CAPA - Review/track CAPA status, Pull CAPA metrics

• Quality System acquisition integration

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Science (i.e., Biomedical Engineering) or technical field.

• Three plus years experience in the Medical Device Industry.

• Strong experience working with a Quality Management System (Corrective and Preventive Action records, Nonconformance records, Complaints, Document Management) and its elements. Experience working with QS Platforms such as Master Controln TrackWise and Qumas preferred.

• Solid experience working in a Class I and Class II Medical Device environment.

• Extensive knowledge of medical device regulations/standards including 21 CFR 820 (QSR) and ISO - 13485:2016.

• Experience hosting and supporting internal and external audits (i.e. FDA Audits, Customer Audits, Corporate Audits, UL, etc.).
